It enables you to enjoy your food more because you are inclined to appreciate what you prepare. The right overall balance of foods and especially the amount of food can give substantial protection against weight gain and Type 2 diabetes. Get excited about cooking. If it helps, purchase a cooking book or borrow one from your local library for some inspiration. Consider how there is so much to cooking you haven't yet discovered.
